Once upon a time my friend Catia asked me to contribute to her Courage to Become series. To be honest, I struggled writing this piece. She wanted me to share a story on how I blazed my own trail despite fear and doubt so I could become the woman I was meant to be. I… Continue reading The Courage to Become

Cookies with Santa hosted by their school this morning πŸŽ…πŸΌπŸŽ„β˜ƒοΈβ„οΈ
Once upon a time I was invited to a Christmas party. The invite said "feel free to dress up and wear something sparkly". So I did. πŸ¦„
I won this shirt like 4 years ago and kept it stashed in my closet just in cases. When I found out I was pregnant I had big plans to do a weekly photo. So far @ardentra begrudgingly snapped my best self at 9 weeks (swipe right) and here I am today at 15 weeks standing in front of my bedroom window making the neighbors laugh as I try my hardest to get in pose before 3 seconds πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ
Tis the season πŸπŸŽ…πŸΌπŸŽ„
We have so much to be grateful for this year and it's not just the tiny human taking up real estate in my uterus. This pregnancy hasn't been easy, but I'm grateful for doctors, meds, family and friends that help us stay afloat, and the ability to rest so this nugget can keep growing ❀️
We blinked and he was 7. Happy birthday sweet boy. I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always. As long as I'm living, my baby you'll be.
We get to snuggle our 6 year old for 3 more days, but today he got to enjoy an early celebration with his friends πŸŽ‰
"Christmas is almost here mom. It really is" - my kids on an icy, delayed start school day
Thanksgiving lunch with these turkeys πŸ¦ƒ
It's National Love Your Red Hair Day and I'm forever grateful for these fuegos I get to do life with πŸ”₯

I was gonna let red ribbon week kick rocks, but the school brainwashes your children and they come home asking you what the 50's means cause whatever it is they HAVE TO DRESS IN 50's tomorrow or else they will die. So you go to Goodwill at the literal last second and make something happen so your kids can live. The pink thing Rowan is wearing is Melissa and Doug and I'm super curious what costume it's really supposed to be πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ Today though, it's most definitely 50's πŸ‘ŒπŸ»
